The official UK guide distinguishes the travel document from evidence about personal circumstances. A generic list cannot replace the instructions for your own visit.
Identity and travel document
The guidance calls for a valid passport or other travel document. It also describes alternative identity evidence for some passport holders.
Personal circumstances and support
The guide discusses evidence of your circumstances, available funds and the planned activity. Sponsored visits have a separate section about the support and the sponsor.
Translations
Documents outside English or Welsh need a full translation that the Home Office can independently verify. Check the official page for the required translator details.
Use the relevant section
Children, business visits and other purposes have their own instructions. VisaPilot does not currently review UK documents.
